Zusammenfassung:It is interesting to synthesize materials by an eco-friendly method for wound healing and other applications. Herein silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized by an eco-friendly method using Justicia adhatoda leaf extract. The synthesized AgNPs were incorporated with sodium alginate (SA) to make films that can be used for wound healing and many other applications. The prepared AgNPs and the AgNPs incorporated SA films were characterized by TEM, AFM, SEM, optical microscopy, UV–Visible spectrophotometer, FTIR, contact angle, and mechanical analysis. AgNPs exhibited maximum absorbance at 420 nm by UV–Visible spectroscopy, and the TEM images revealed the spherical shape of the AgNPs. Both AgNPs and films showed good antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli . These prepared films can be used for biomedical and nanobiotechnology fields.
