Zusammenfassung:The message of the 2021 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report is clear, “a code red for humanity,” warns the UN Secretary-General. The uptake of environmentally friendly AI-enabled robotics solutions can help us meet ambitious targets related to the cutting of greenhouse gas emissions and climate neutrality. The robotics industry would benefit from deciding to “act with an appropriate degree of respect and care for the environment in cases where the law is silent, and in cases where they could break the law without risk of detection”13.
