Zusammenfassung:Surface plasmon resonance (SPR)-based fiber optic sensor using bi-layers of Pt-InN is theoretically reported. Sensitivity and figure of merit of the sensor are increased with an increase in the thickness of the Pt layer for all thicknesses of InN layers. For a particular thickness of the Pt layer, sensitivity gets bigger as the thickness of the InN layer is raised. Maximum sensitivity is attained by a 120 nm thick Pt-25 nm thick InN layer-based SPR sensor.
