Zusammenfassung:We present an approach for measuring the mixing degree of two liquids in a microsystem with a mixing mechanism based on the Euler force. By considering Shannon entropy, our proposed method achieves a more reliable evaluation than the conventional technique. The evaluation is performed by analyzing images of the two liquids and calculating the entropy from detected gradation values. We present an accurate analysis of mixing in microfluidics with and without the Euler force. Finally, we confirm that the Shannon entropy used to study the mixing of powders and granules can also be applied to liquid mixing.
