Zusammenfassung:Based on new finds and additional evidence, the interpretation of the enigmatic echinoderm Bolboporites is confirmed; it is a blastozoan echinoderm most likely related to eocrinoids, in which juvenile holdfast, columnals, and reduced skeletal plates of the theca were fused into a single skeletal element, to which a biserial brachiole was attached.
