O. Their crystal and molecular structures are determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). From the XRD data it is found that the complexes crystallize in the triclinic space group
as solvates with alcohol and water molecules. In mononuclear molecules of both complexes, two trischelate ligands in mono- and dianionic forms are coordinated to the Co(III) cation. The coordination environment of the cobalt atom CoN
4
O
2
corresponds to a distorted octahedron in both compounds. |
