RESEARCH OF ECO-EDUCATION

The paper presents selected results of an empirical research related to attitudes of students of management, nautical and students of environmental protection, in relation to introducing a ecology course and environmental education. Also, one of the goals of the research, was to examine the habits, behavior and knowledge in the domain of environmental protection. It was found that the subjects, students of environmental protection are considered, that classes related to ecology and environmental education need to be introduced into the education system of the Republic of Serbia, starting from the primary education, secondary to higher education and that it would contribute to the development of environmental awareness and behavior would be great. It was also found that respondents, students of management, in a small percentage understand the issues related to environmental education.
