Zusammenfassung:The Forbush effect and geomagnetic storm in April 1990 are studied using data from ground-based measurements of cosmic rays on the worldwide network of stations. Variations in spectra, the anisotropy of cosmic rays, and changes in the planetary system of geomagnetic cutoff rigidities are calculated. The distance to the subsolar point, the radius of the ring current, and the ring current’s contribution to the D st index during the investigated events are determined.
