Zusammenfassung:A method is developed for optimizing the tool distribution within a multispindle automatic lathe on the basis of a mathematical model in which the influence of tools at longitudinal and transverse supports on the dimensional precision is taken into account. That permits calculation of the tool distribution over the positions within the lathe so as to ensure maximum machining productivity.
