Systematics of Yrast Bands in the Region of Heavy and Superheavy Even-Even Nuclei

Energies of yrast-band levels are calculated using extrapolation for some heavy and superheavy nuclei. The estimated energies are found based on information for neighboring nuclei. This approach seems justified, since the yrast-state energies for the most collective states in the region under consideration vary in a smooth and insignificant way. The results are of utmost importance for planning experiments and analyzing experimental data on the detection and study of and decays of high-spin isomers in the region of heavy and superheavy nuclei.
