Zusammenfassung: | The present study is aimed at the development of a technique for calculating the change in the strength of metal samples under external loading during the contact of a cold metal with a melt by the molecular-dynamics method. This is an urgent problem associated with the development of an optimal technology of formation and processing of structural materials for modern equipment. The distribution of forces acting on surface atoms of a copper bar induced both by volume atoms of the solid structure and by atoms of the metal melt is analyzed. For a system consisting of atoms of solid copper and silver melt droplet, external loading is demonstrated to ensure strength enhancement due to adsorption. This phenomenon is treated via forces acting on surface atoms of copper. |
