Measurements of the Instantaneous Temperature Values of Gas Turbine Engine Gases Using Acoustic Multivibrators

Zusammenfassung: | A differential device has been developed for measuring the temperature in the control channel of a gas turbine engine (GTE), where the nonuniformity of temperature field along the radius and circumference reaches 100–400 K and may change in transient modes at a speed of up to 400 K/s. The device consists of two measurement channels and an information processing unit and has a sensitivity of 8.5 Hz/K. The speed of the device is three orders of magnitude faster than the speed of thermocouples, thus allowing measurements of the true temperature of gases of GTEs. The functional diagram of the device is presented, the test benches are described, and the results of investigations that confirm the high metrological characteristics of the measuring device are presented. |
