Zusammenfassung:This research studies the economic crisis in Venezuela in the context of the pandemic (SARS-CoV-2) caused by the covid -19 disease. According to a scenario without pandemic and another with the pandemic, using the development of an econometric model ARDL (Autoregressive Distributed Lag), the behavior of the GDP for the years 2020 and 2021 is estimated, as well as what refers to the fiscal area (fiscal deficit and the government's final consumption expenditure), which allows quantifying the im-pact that the pandemic SARS-CoV-2 has on the Venezuelan economic crisis and how much corresponds to the inertial behavior of that crisis. On the other hand, the aim is to characterize the maneuvering capacity of the government, using expansionary fiscal and monetary policies, to recover economic growth in a macroeconomic environment where the pandemic becomes a shock variable that is incorporated in the pre-existing crisis.
