Zusammenfassung:Mapping the power of MPs in the Serbian Parliament, by analyzing the membership structure and leadership of the Assembly and parliamentary committees, indicates that MPs dominate in the socio-cultural cluster of committees, as well as in committees for foreign and European integration affairs. Members of parliament are increasingly visible in the legislative and judicial committees, while the committees for internal affairs, defense and security are minimally open to their membership. There is a growing trend of engagement of MPs in the areas of ecology, then trade and finance and, to a lesser extent, in infrastructure committees. The level of institutional gender sensitivity of the Serbian Parliament is inadequate, and amendments to the Rules of Procedure and the Code are needed in order to introduce gender-sensitive rules and procedures.
