Zusammenfassung:In 2019, the fourth 110 MW combined-cycle power unit was commissioned at the Pregolskaya Thermal Power Plant (TPP), the Kaliningradskaya CHP-2 branch of the Inter RAO-Electric Power Plants company. The PGU-110 power unit includes a 77.85 MWgas turbine PG6111FA(manufactured by General Electric) delivered by the Russian Gas Turbines company. Natural gas is used as fuel in the combustion chamber. Detailed tests and studies of the operating modes of the gas turbine in a wide range were carried out in the same year. The test results are presented, and the thermal characteristics of the gas turbine are specified. During the tests, the standard automated measurement system was used. More than 60 stationary modes at various electrical loads and ambient temperatures were studied. The experimental data were processed following State Standard GOST R 55798–2013 (Gas Turbine Installations. Test Methods. Acceptance Tests) and special heat-balance methods. During the tests, the electrical output of the gas turbine varied from 80.1 to 17 MW in the range of external temperatures from +2 to +21°C, while the initial gas temperature in the turbine decreased from 1220 to 1000°C. In the range of loads studied, the NO x emissions at 15% O 2 did not exceed 10 ppm.
