Unusual design strategy for a stable and soluble high-molecular-weight copper() arylacetylide polymer

A long enough side chain, electron-withdrawing ester groups and a chloroform solvent in the polymerization can together relay solubility and/or stability to the copper( i ) arylacetylide polymer. The copper( i ) arylacetylide polymers reported previously are almost insoluble and infusible so as to r...

Zusammenfassung:A long enough side chain, electron-withdrawing ester groups and a chloroform solvent in the polymerization can together relay solubility and/or stability to the copper( i ) arylacetylide polymer. The copper( i ) arylacetylide polymers reported previously are almost insoluble and infusible so as to restrain their applications. Herein, an unusual design strategy for stable and soluble copper( i ) arylacetylide polymers is reported.
