Zusammenfassung: | Malignancy of hematopoietic origin comprises a large portion of all pediatric malignancies; however, it is uncommon for patients with this condition to present only with symptoms related to temporal bone involvement. Here, we report a case of Burkitt Lymphoma of the temporal bone in an 8-year-old patient who initially presented with symptoms of acute otitis media. Additionally, we review the current literature on pediatric hematopoietic malignancy with primary temporal bone involvement and discuss the clinical presentation, management, and outcomes of these rare cases. |
