Extreme weather and climate events in Montenegro – case study, November 2019

Montenegro is a spatially and population‐small Mediterranean country, which often faces extreme weather and climate events. Early forecast of an extreme weather event has great practical significance, because it can save people's lives and mitigate material damage. In November 2019, there were extreme weather events. During the previous seven decades (instrumental period), it registered for the first time that one month was at the same time extremely warm and extremely rainy, and that was November 2019 in several cities.
