Zusammenfassung:Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is an emerging global trend in the field of wood architecture. Particularly in Europe, various types of wood buildings have been built using CLT and the field of CLT construction is growing rapidly. However, in Japan, CLT is still considered to be a new material and there are many barriers that need to be overcome. This study investigates the technical and psychological barriers that different companies in the construction sector might have in order to find solutions to how to overcome them and increase of the use of CLT in Japan.
