Zusammenfassung: | The extraction properties of the new extractant 4-[(hexylsulfanyl)methyl]-3,5-dimethylisoxazole have been studied under the conditions of palladium(II) extraction from hydrochloric acid solutions with toluene as a diluent. The extractant effectively extracts Pd(II) from 0.1–6 M HCl solutions with high selectivity towards Pt(IV), Cu(II), Ni(II), Fe(III), and Al(III). The coordination mechanism of the Pd(II) extraction from 1 M HCl solutions with the formation of the extractable compound [Cl

Pd(μ-L)

PdCl
2
] has been established. The values of the concentration constant and thermodynamic parameters of the Pd(II) extraction from 1 M HCl solutions were estimated. Palladium(II) is quantitatively stripped with hydrochloric acid solution of thiourea. |
