Determinants of meat consumption pattern among university students in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa

There is a dearth of information on factors influencing the feeding habits and daily consumption of meat among university students in the Eastern Cape Province (ECP) of South Africa. As a result, this study considered it imperative to examine the feeding habit and meat consumption pattern among the black and white dominated university students in the ECP where inequalities had been previously experienced.
