Original Reports: Cancer--Reasons for Wanting to Quit: Ethnic Differences among Cessation-Seeking Adolescent Smokers

This study compared reasons for the desire to stop smoking expressed by whites to those of African American adolescents. Results, which are discussed, found in general that the development of culturally tailored messages may help enhance smoking cessation efforts among adolescents.
