Zusammenfassung: | Background: Obesity is a chronic, non-communicable, multifactorial disease that different governmental and non-governmental organizations consider a pandemic. It has even been reported as the disease to be combated in the 21st century. Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effects of a multi-professional intervention with an online component (hybrid - some activities were performed in person, and others were conducted on the internet) on the morphological and cardiorespiratory parameters of overweight or obese females after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention. Methods: Seventeen females between 40 and 59 years of age were included in the final analyses. Data were gathered at 6 and 12 weeks. The interventions were performed for 12 weeks by a team made up of physical education professionals (3x a week), physical therapists (3x a week), nutritionists (1x a week), and psychologists (1x a week). Physical exercises by physical education professionals and physical therapists were conducted in person.
