Zusammenfassung:This article proposes a methodology and model to optimize the torque of the torsional electromagnetic actuators. Specifically, the analytical expression of the torque is derived, and then optimization of coil's configuration and the size of the permanent magnet are investigated based on this, which is of great significance to improve the torque and reduce driving current. Additionally, three times of device's torque performance is achieved when testing the fabricated samples with different sizes of permanent magnets. The experimental results, finite element simulation, and theoretical analysis are in good agreement, illustrating the reliability, practicality, and simplicity of the proposed methodology in a wide range of magnetic actuators.
