NEDOŽITÁ OSEMDESIATKA PAVLA HRÚZA (REMINISCENCIA NA ORIGINÁLNEHO SPISOVATEĽA)

Already at the beginning of his work, the well-known prose writer Pavel Hrúz became one of the most prominent and distinctive protagonists of modern Slovak literature. The writer's non-traditional, original, and provocative authorial approach has always carried the seal of a sovereignly individual view of the world, society and its distortions, contradictions, and stereotypes. This approach, in addition to his extraordinary prose talent, narrative dispositions, and the functional application of various creative methods, has systematically amplified the suggestive authenticity, which can draw the reader into unique twists, crossings, beliefs, and abysses of life. Although the vast majority of texts provide no room for illusions and sentiment, the author knew and could apply the ways to dose, lighten and move the story to the levels of irony and sharp sarcasm.
