Zusammenfassung: | The structure–phase state, the distribution of alloying elements, and the level of residual stresses in the welded joint of VT20 alloy (Ti–Al–Mo–V–Zr system) formed by electron-beam welding with subsequent vacuum annealing at a temperature of 650°C have been studied. The residual tensile stresses are found to have a high level (715 MPa) in the region bordering the region of introducing an electron beam, and there is significant inhomogeneity in the zirconium distribution over the welded joint width. There are no microdiscontinuities along the boundary of the heat affected zone with the weld. |
