A Glance Back at Five Decades of Scientific Research

I review my scientific research career for the last 50 years, with emphasis on the issue of 'Poincaré recurrences': I stress some ideas of mine which became so popular that they have been taken up (recurred) by others, sometimes forgetting the original source.
