Zusammenfassung: | S-VHS is a legged breakwater method used for wave dissipation. We are proposing precast S-VHS method to improve productivity and concrete quality when manufacturing RC caissons. Precast members are connected by mechanical joints, but there are concerns that the rigidity of the joints may be reduced and the reinforcing bars may corrode due to joint opening compared to the conventional cast-in-place method. Therefore, in this study, we conducted loading experiments and FEM analysis on precast members with joints, and confirmed the applicability of mechanical joints to precast S-VHS method. |
