Zusammenfassung: | The article describes the developing and operating experience of a customized unit for removing hydrogen sulfide from residual fuel oil in a nitrogen flow. While developing the process, the following tasks were solved. The initial decomposition temperature of sulfur compounds was determined; a laboratory setup was built up; contact trays were selected to ensure mass transfer at a working fluid viscosity of 80-200 cSt. The viability of the described technical solutions is confirmed by the successful long-term operation of the facility. |
