Zusammenfassung:A two-stage design method is proposed. The first step consists of topological optimization of the product and subsequent determination of its facet geometry. The second step is parametrization of part of the CAD model and parametric optimization by various methods—for example, in terms of the response surface or by a gradient procedure. In some cases, that permits refinement of the results of topological optimization.
