Zusammenfassung: | In this article we discussed Particle In Cell electromagnetic simulations and mechanical design of dielectric capillaries that produce THz Cherenkov Smith-Purcell radiation (ChSPR), arising when a femtosecond electron multi-bunch beam propagates through corrugated and non-corrugated dielectric capillaries with metallic radiation reflectors. We investigated the influence of the four-bunch beam on the SPR field spectrum and on the ChSPR power spectrum, and the influence of the non-central beam propagation on the ChSPR power spectrum. We also discussed the design and assembly of the capillaries, constructed as sets of cylindrical rings. |
