Zusammenfassung: | Varsity libraries have been seen as one of the libraries that house varieties of information sources usually known as library collection. Libraries build its collection through a process known as collection development. Collection development is one of the primary functions of the library through which the library meets the diverse information needs of its users. This is why library is referred to as a life line to be reckon with, in individual and societal development especially in this age and time when there is dire need for knowledge that could induce sustainable development.
