Zusammenfassung: | BaFeO3 (BFO) and BaTiO3 (BTO) targets were used to deposit bi-layer (BL)/multilayer (ML) thin films on single crystal SrTiO3 (001) using pulsed laser deposition. X-Ray diffraction and Reciprocal Space Maps confirmed the formation of BL/ML. Magnetization studies revealed that the sandwiched BFO displayed weakest ferromagnetic interactions whereas the bilayer with BFO as top layer showed highest magnetization and growth of ferromagnetic phase. This study demonstrates that sandwiched interfaces restrict the degrees of freedom of BFO to grow ferromagnetic phase. |
