Zusammenfassung:Green, one-pot, multi-component method was developed using polyethylene glycol (PEG-600) as a reaction medium for the synthesis of title compounds (4a-h).These derivatives prepared by tandem with excellent yields in PEG-600, without isolation of in situ intermediates. Thus, with new synthetic routes and techniques, novel Benzimidazole products have been prepared using PEG-600 as a solvent, in polyethylene glycol (PEG-600) i.e. (tandem-1 and stepwise-1) two variable routes but similar end-products under green 4 in good yields.
