Zusammenfassung:The results of the first run (December 2020) for the commissioning of the new superconducting synchrotron Booster at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research are presented. Vacuum conditions and measurements of the lifetime of the single-charged helium ion beam at injection energy of 3.2 MeV per nucleon have been analyzed and the acceleration of ions up to energy of 100 MeV per nucleon has been demonstrated. The measured lifetime of the beam s is compared to the theoretical value s calculated with original program code. The results of the first switching-on of the electron cooling system are presented.
