General Assertions on the Gravitational Waves Polarization Modes from an f(R) Model of Gravity

Detailed analysis of an f( R) theory is emphasized in a Minkowski and non trivial background. It is shown that the polarization modes depend strongly on the metric or Palatini formalism, Einstein or Jordan frame, function f (R ), background gravitational field g μ ν 0 and the observer.
