Zusammenfassung:MgB 4 O 7 : Dy phosphor has been synthesized using combustion method. The synthesized material was then irradiated to 75 MeV O 6+ ion beam and TL glow curves were noticed. In the present study, the trapping parameters were calculated using Chen’s peak shape method and initial rise method after deconvoluting the glow curve. TL glow curve shows that synthesized MgB 4 O 7 phosphor may find an application in radiation dosimetry for 75 MeV O 6+ ion beam in the fluence range from 5 × 10 10 to 1 × 10 12  ion/cm 2 .
