Zusammenfassung:The growth of nanocrystalization in TeO 2 –SeO 2 –Na 2 O glasses is achieved by the conventional heat treatment method. The influence of Na 2 O concentration on the physical properties of glass is evaluated. The glass transition ( T g ) and onset crystallization ( T c ) temperature decrease when Na 2 O concentration increases. Raman results show that the addition of Na 2 O to TeO 2 –SeO 2 glasses may result in cleavage of Te–O–Te and Se–O–Se linkages and formation of Te and Se terminal groups in the glass system. FTIR results show that peaks corresponding to TeO 4 units are decreased and peaks related to TeO 3 /TeO 3 + 1 unit are increased. The crystal phases detected are TeO 2 , Na 2 Te 4 O 9 , Te 3 SeO 8 , Na 2 Te 2 O 5, Na 2 Se 2 O 7 , NaSe 2 , Te 0.5 Se 0.5 , and Te 3 SeO 8 (IV) in the glass system. FESEM revels from surface morphology that nanorods are exits in the glass samples. The nanoparticles are agglomerated into a shape of nanorod having nanosize in the range of 28.2–140 nm.
