Zusammenfassung:A moderate way to prepare water soluble magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been developed. Firstly, oleic acid coated Fe3O4 is prepared by coprecipitation. Second, oleic acid were replaced by 2,3-dimercaptosuccinnic acid (DMSA) to prepare DMSA/Fe3O4 in the mixed solution of n-hexane and acetone. After dialysis and filtration the DMSA/Fe3O4 can be transferred into distilled water to form stable Fe3O4 nanoparticle solutions. The TEM images indicated that the particles had spherical shape and the nanoparticles were found to be 12 nm with a relatively narrow size distribution with the hydrodynamic size of 30 nm. And the result of VSM shows that DMSA/Fe3O4 nanoparticles have a saturation magnetization of 31 emu/g. The IR spectra indicated that the iron oxide was located by carboxyl matrix.
