Zusammenfassung: | University libraries are created to support the parent body's mission of teaching, learning and research. This the University libraries achieve through the acquisition and management of learning and research resources. Among these learning and research resources are Information and communication (ICT) equipment such as computers, software of various types, reprographic machines, scanners etc, books including reference books in physical and digital formats; and magazines. Apart from these, the university library also maintains a crop of skilled personnel necessary to bring the ICT equipment, digital and physical materials to life. There are also services designed by libraries to ensure that teaching, learning and research are sustained. Here, Osadebe and Okwor examine resource mobilization to support research in selected African University libraries. |
