Zusammenfassung:Based on satellite microwave radiometric measurements, the spatial and temporal variability of the brightness temperature in the spectral band of the resonant radiation of atmospheric water vapor, as well as meteorological parameters in the Gulf of Mexico during the origin and development of the tropical hurricanes Humberto and Lorenzo in September-October 2007, were analyzed. The results of the analysis indicate that large areas of the Gulf of Mexico are involved in the formation of the brightness temperature response to the origin of hurricanes. The role of spatial dispersion of atmospheric moisture content over the Gulf of Mexico is evaluated as a quantitative indicator of the processes of origin and development of the hurricanes Humberto and Lorenzo.
