NA TRASE HUMENNÉ – PRAHA – TEL AVIV PROZAIK LADISLAV GROSMAN

100 years ago, the Slovak novelist and screenwriter Ladislav Grosman was born, who immigrated to Israel in 1968. In 1965, Grosman published his novella Obchod na korze (The Shop on Main Street), which became the basis for his subsequently published screenplay of the film of the same name. Obchod na korze directed by Ján Kadár and Elmar Klos was the first Czechoslovak production to receive an Oscar (1966).
