Zusammenfassung:This paper overviews recent studies on structural modification of metal oxide nanoparticles occurring in the process of chemical vapour condensation (CVC) and related peculiar properties. Hollow nanostructure is controlled at specific process conditions where the pressure in the reactor and the evaporation temperature play an important role in terms of kinematical equilibrium during particle formation and decomposition of precursors in the CVC reactor. As a natural consequence, particle properties also rely on a large surface area from the hollow nanostructure. In this review paper, phase transformation, chemical reactivity and microstructural evolution of nanoparticles are discussed based on hollow nanostructure.
