Zusammenfassung:The paper analyses and assesses the reliability of the designed brake system on the basis of the real one. Analysis of the basic diagram and the components' eventual failures was made. Based on the built structural diagram of the brake system the reliability level was estimated. Measures to increase the system reliability were proposed.
