Preface

The ModTech Professional Association in cooperation with “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi as the host institution organized the 7th edition of the ModTech2019 International Conference, in the Ramada Hotel, Iasi, Romania between 19 and 22 June 2019. Other prestigious institutions, from Romania and abroad, such as the Society of Powder Technology of Japan, the Silesian University of Technology of Gliwice, Poland, “Alecu Russo” University of Balti, the Republic of Moldova, Technical Sciences Academy of Romania, “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, “Stefan cel Mare” University of Suceava and The General Association of the Engineers in Romania (AGIR) were also at our side as co-organizers. The ModTech Professional Association currently has 351 members from Romania and abroad and 9 branches in India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Iraq, Poland, Turkey, Serbia, and Republic of Moldova. The participants of the 7th edition were from 23 countries such as Malaysia, Japan, India, Germany, Poland, Serbia, Republic of Moldova, Netherlands, Croatia, Romania, Mexico, Iran, Ireland, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, Australia, Turkey, Iraq, Czech Republic, Greece, Russia. The ModTech2019 conference got together 151 specialists in the field of modern material manufacture and processing technologies both from Romania and from other world countries with interesting presentations about the latest information on the research topics tackled by the conference.
