Mathematical modeling process of training specialists in the engineering industry at a technical university

Mathematical models are constructed to describe the functioning of the educational system in the form of Cobb-Douglas production function. As an example, it is considered the process of training specialists in the engineering industry is at flagship Samara state technical University. The constructed models allow to analyze the characteristics of the efficiency of use of basic resources in the university and to identify promising ways to improve staffing in the region.
