Zusammenfassung:The quantum dot (QD) solids are promising materials for use in electronics. We studied the effect of variations in the length of organic ligands on the optical properties of PbS QD solids from the measurements of photoluminescence spectra and decay kinetics. The decay is becoming exponentially faster along with the decrease of the length of ligand molecules, which is consistent with the decay of excitons by hopping of charge carriers.
