Zusammenfassung:Collaborations generally allow individuals and institutions to work together and share their competencies. The ability to work effectively with others on a common task, taking actions which respect the needs and contributions of others are important skills to develop. The collaborating individuals and institutions stand to contribute to the consensus and in accepting they negotiate a win-win solution to achieve their collective objectives. As part of the IUNS leadership agenda to promote regional partnerships between members of the nutrition fraternity, two of its Council members have agreed to build collaborations between their institutions (Korea and Ghana) with a focus on nutritional science research, capacity building initiatives and exchange of students and faculty to learn from each country.
