Correction to: Tropical varieties for exponential sums

A correction to this paper has been published: https ://doi.org/10.1007/s00208-019-01808-5 A subsidiary result (Theorem 1.1, on the undecidability of determining membership in the amoeba of 1 - x - y ) from our original article had an erroneous proof. We give a correct proof. The statement of Theorem 1.1 remains correct. We thank Alexander Rashkovskii for pointing out the error in our original proof. We also correct a small typo in our main theorem on univariate exponential sums (Theorem 1.5).
