Zusammenfassung:Zinc 20-acyloxy-bacteriochlorophyll-d analogs were prepared from naturally occurring chlorophyll(Chl)-a. The semi-synthetic Chl-a derivatives self-aggregated in an aqueous Triton X-100 micelle solution to give red-shifted and broadened visible absorption bands, similarly to native chlorosome, one of the photosynthetic light-harvesting antenna systems. The present compounds are the first examples of a 20-O-substituted chlorosomal pigment model.
